Rosa Carbonell will lead the Board of Directors to ensure the association’s mission of providing Europeans with continued access to safe, nutritious and high-quality food.

Expressing enthusiasm for her continued role, Rosa Carbonell stated, “Working to represent the European Pet Food Industry and feed Europe’s 352 million pets is an honour. I am delighted to be so ably supported by the Board of Directors and I know that Greg will bring his enthusiasm and expertise to support our work throughout Europe.”

Sonia Franck, Secretary General of FEDIAF, extended her gratitude to the Board of Directors, saying, “We are extremely grateful for the guidance of our Board of Directors. Our focus remains on our three pillars, and we will continue to work through technical groups to ensure that our regulatory framework prioritises pet food, champions the pivotal role of pets in society, and fosters sustainability from farm to fork.”

Note to editors:

FEDIAF is the united voice of the European Pet Food Industry. Our membership includes 15 European national pet food associations, together with five pet food manufacturers operating in Europe. This equates to around 95% of the industry.

We represent the Industry’s interests with the EU institutions, national authorities, academics, other associations and NGOs. FEDIAF also provides a platform to share, develop and promote best practice in the industry. We aim to ensure that safe, nutritious and palatable pet food is supplied across Europe.

While we work sustainably every day to provide safe products that benefit pets, our work goes beyond pets, and goes beyond pet food. Our work is also about society. Because we believe that pet ownership has the potential to enhance the lives of all Europeans.
